Wipeout's Murder Mystery Night

We've got a funny feeling that at about 7:30 on August 6th, someone is going to die. We've also got a funny feeling that we'll be needing your help finding out who murdered the dead person. At the same time we'll eat some delicious food and enjoy the company of other detectives. Will you be the one who puts the murderer behind bars?

Bring a Friend Night!

Tonight is a great chance to bring your friends to Wipeout. We'll be playing some great games, hearing a talk about christianity and chatting in our year levels.

Small Groups: Jesus is our level 80 Priest

Hebrews compares Jesus with the ancient "Great High Priests" of the nation of Israel. We don't have High Priests anymore but Jesus remains relevant. Come along and share your thoughts.

At small group nights we don't talk "at" you but prefer to talk "with" you. After a few introductions we break into small groups and discuss the night's topic with your questions and opinions forming the direction of the coversation.

Friday August 27th

Refresh: Sexting, porn and other things you don't talk about at church

Our culture is becoming saturated with sex, nudity and relationships. Don't believe me? Count how many billboards use sex to sell their product, or TV commercials, or online ads. It's everywhere! The church has a reputation for never talking about this stuff cos it's shameful or something. It's a reputation we intend to smash at Wipeout by talking about it all night! Seriously though it's important stuff and God has some seriously brilliant advice in this area.

At Refresh we get together for a night of games, discussion, singing and some fantastic teaching. These nights are a great way of learning more about the God who's alive and active today.

Wipeout's E-Sports Championship

Video games are becoming an actual sport! Don't believe me? Watch this! One of the reasons for this is that games are no longer limited to extreme hardcore nerds sitting in the dark playing by themselves. With all the new controllers and game types everyone can find something they enjoy. Enter yourself in Wipeout's E-Sports Championship and you never know, you might become an international gaming star! By the way, if you're a bit of a noob (new person) when it comes to games, don't worry, there'll be some non-computer games happening as well.

What is Wipeout?

Our Purpose Statement: "We aim to point people to Jesus, build lasting friendships, grow our faith, celebrate God with our whole lives, and get involved in God's work."

Wipeout is a Christian community for youth in years 7-9. We have fun filled activities every Friday night of the school term. Wipeout is all about developing relationships. We aim to help youth develop friendships with each other, their leaders and of course God.

Wipeout youth are linked into a small group with adult leaders and others from their year level and gender. These groups are a great way to make new friends and learn new things.

Many youth from Wipeout also attend the Shac7 service on Sunday nights. This is a vibrant service designed specifically for youth and young adults, and is run at Genazzano College, Cotham Rd, Kew.
